Very nice route from Zermatt, which leads through five mountain lakes. Zermatt is the ultimate cult place with the well-known Matterhorn, its great hiking trails, the beautiful mountain village and its ski area that is open almost all year round. The trail is more technical and longer, making a circuit of the Leisee and the Mosjesee in the Swiss canton of Valais.

This route leads to the top of the Unterrothorn, which rises to 3103 meters. The descent is via Fluhalp, where hikers can eat while enjoying a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. This challenging hike also leads close to the shimmering Lake Stellisee, which beautifully reflects the Matterhorn on its surface.
