This unique circular hike is located above Zermatt in Furi. The trail leads counter-clockwise from Furi to the suspension bridge, the glacier garden, and back again. The start of this route can be reached on foot from Zermatt (approx. 1.5 hours) or with one of the cable cars from Zermatt. The trail starts at the Matterhon Glacier Paradise station in Zermatt in the canton of Valais next to the Matter Vispa. The path makes a circuit between rivers, mountains, forests and small towns between the Zermatt-Furi railway and goes through the Gorner Gorge. A cash fee of CHF 5 will be charged for this route.

The trail begins in the center of Zermatt, which is also easily accessible by public transport. Then it goes into the forest. After just one kilometer you will pass the wonderful Findelenbach viaduct. Lined with great impressions, it then goes steadily up to the Sunnegga hill. Finally, you hike down again on forest paths.
