Popular circular hiking trail on the dike on Usedom near Zempin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It starts in the main street at the seaside resort Zempin to the Dünensteig on the Baltic Sea beach. Follow the beach to the Zinnowitz seaside resort. The path then leads through the village to the other side of the bay. There it goes back along the water to Zempin. The Streckelsberg is an approx. 58 meter high cliff edge dune on Usedom. The way to the "summit" leads through an old beech forest with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. For those interested in history, there was an observation facility on the summit to observe the trajectory of the V2 rockets fired by the Peenemünde Army Research Center at the time of World War II.
