Sanauli is a small village nearby Chandigarh Panchkula, Punjab more specifically Zirakpur. There are farms all around with a river that flows right next to the trail. Man birds can be spotted in this region due to the closeness of the Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary. Almost all of the sections of this trail are paved with few exceptions especially close to the farmland region. This trail doesn't as such have technical sections. This region is very picturesque with some of the most amazing views.

This is a biking route around the city of Panchkula. Going through the farmland areas gives you beautiful views. This particular trail can be completed on a road bike but if one wants to complete it on MTB there is no harm to it as well. It is a good route to hit in the morning wee hours as in the evening hours an increase in vehicular traffic is seen which might become a little tricky if you're not an experienced rider.

The city is well designed with a systematic layout, wide roads adorned with beautiful trees and buildings that complement the modern outlook of the planning. The trail goes till Tipra from where the Shimla highway starts. The route has mesmerizing views and entire it's very scenic.
