A great route in the north-east of Zurich. It leads through idyllic forests, past the ruins of Alt-Regensberg and along the shore of Lake Chatzensee, past Chraenriet with the two lakes Katzensee and Affoltern. The trail begins and ends at Altstetten train station. A short leisurely round, with beautiful views in the immediate vicinity of Zurich.

A leisurely circular hike along the Limmat. This river has its source in Lake Zurich and flows into the Aare after 38 km. The path begins near the Europabrücke and leads along the Fischerweg and the Limmatweg paths to the bridge on the Weiningerstraße. After crossing it the route continues on the Kloster-Fahr-Weg path leading back to the starting point. Shortly before reaching the starting point again, the path crosses the Werdinsel, where there is a bathing facility, several barbecue areas...

The path begins at the Europabrücke bridge and first leads to the Werdinsel island, where there are bathing and barbecue facilities and a soccer field. On the Fischerweg path, it goes a little further along the river and then back to the starting point. A fantastic route for the whole family, which is also suitable for pushchairs.

The "Altberg" area can all be walked on footpaths to the restaurant. If you want it to be more comfortable, you can just stay on the forest trails. The downhill cycle path is signposted from the Uetliberg. Those who want more pleasant paths can also take the forest paths.
