It continues past the Zürich Sihlwald Wilderness Park and leads back to the starting point. This route crosses the cantons of Zurich and Zug.

From the largest city in Switzerland, Zurich, the route first leads around the Chäferberg and then through the Zürichberg to the Greifensee. It continues along the west bank in a southerly direction and then via Uster to Wetzikon. The way back leads via Illnau and Witikon. The entire route follows paved roads and cycle paths.
