A great circular hike in the largest city in Switzerland. The path begins in Wipkingerpark and initially leads directly along the Limmat. From Höngg it goes through the town and then on leisurely forest paths to the Käferberg (563 m) and back to the starting point. The Käferberg belongs with the Waidberg and the Hönggerberg to a range of hills near Zurich and is one of the local mountains. This trail starts at the Hardbrücke train station and then leads through the city. After about five kilometers it enters the Ältholz forest and climbs about three hundred meters of altitude. Then it descends to Schlieren and to the babbling Limmat. Along the shore it returns to the train station.

The trail starts in Wipkingen and follows the Limmat River through the city of Zurich. Following the Fischerweg path and crossing the river where the Limmat river and the Oberwasser channel divide. On the opposite side one goes up the Kloster-Fahr Weg path to the starting point and one takes many breaks with the idyllic view of the river.

This great route begins at the Limmatplatz square, first leads over the Limmat Bridge in Wipkingen and then on the Kloster-Fahr-Weg path along the river. This leads through the middle of the city of Zurich to where the Limmat and the Oberwasserkanal divide. The water is crossed over the Hönggerwehr Bridge. On the opposite side, the Fischerweg leads back to the starting point.

The route starts at Wipkingen train station and leads along paved roads to the lake Allmendsee. With a beautiful view, the trail continues through the forest over Waldhüsli at 631m. Then it descends over paved roads and crossing watercourses. This trail can be a bit muddy after a few bad weather days.
