Gasthaus Spinas

The sixth stage of path 33 of the Via Albula / Bernina goes from Spinas to St. Moritz. Both are located in the canton of Graubünden. Along this segment it is possible to enjoy the Bernina massif from the Val Bever followed by the sculptures on the fairy tale trail. Along the river landscape follow the Engadin plateau to the world health resort "Top of the World" with a magnificent view.

A great mountain bike route from the Albula Pass (2312 m) to La Punt-Chamues-ch (1686 m). A single trail with a depth of 625 meters and spectacular views of the Upper Engadine (Engiadin'Ota) and the surrounding mountains. Shortly before reaching La Punt-Chamues-ch there is Alp Alesch (2036 m), an insider tip for culinary delights.

This trail has a couple of tricky passages that not only occur during the descent but also during the ascent. Ideal as a short evening ride on a mountain bike in the canton of Graubünden. Incidentally, shortly before the ascent it has a bike park and offers you very nice views of the entire region.

This route in the Engadin, a high valley in the canton of Graubünden, offers a lot of variety between parts of the route in the valley through beautiful little villages and other parts of the route that lead up into the mountains. The second half of the route leads through the Parc Ela, the largest nature park in Switzerland. There located is also the beautiful Kesch hut at 2625 meters above sea level.

This route is particularly suitable for a bike ride and you follow the well-known route of the Bernina Express train, which connects this valley in serpentine lines and without cogs. The tour begins at the train station in Samedan and then leads along the Staz Forest and past Lago Bianco, a reservoir on the Bernina Pass.
