This trail is one of the different routes that take you to Pico do Itapeva. Pico do Itapeva is 2,030 meters above sea level, and the top offers one of the most beautiful views of Serra da Mantiqueira, with 15 cities in the region visible. The route also cuts through Campos do Jordão Park, created in 1941. The place features exuberant nature and various ecotourism activities.

This trail goes towards Pico do Itapeva. The route is approximately 22 km round trip, with an average of 9 km of strong ascent. The view from the top is worth the effort. Itapeva Lake is the highest in the region and perhaps the highest source of the Piracuama River. From Pico do Itapeva, you can see several cities in the Paraíba valley.

This trail is one of the 40 trails that are part of the city's Master Plan. Those who pass through it can have a glimpse of how beautiful are the high altitude fields that gave rise to the name of the city.

A bike ride leaving Vila Capivari and going up through Alto do Capivari towards the Pyramid. The descent is through Parque do Ferradura and the ascent is through Pico do Itapeva. Practically all ascents are by dirt road passing through areas with an altitude of 1,880m. During the trail you will pass through the Serra da Mantiqueira Environmental Protection Area. The flora is composed of the Atlantic forest and Araucaria forest.
