Tally Ho Inn

Turtle Lake loop/Clear Lake loop is a loop around Clear Lake and Turtle Lake. There is a floating bridge between Clear Lake and Turtle Lake. The loop can be done counterclockwise or clockwise and you don't necessarily have to cross the bridge between the lakes. The hike has rolling hills. It is is quite easy and very well maintained by the staff.

Limberlost is a hidden gem! There is ample, free parking and some of the most well-maintained trails out there! The trails are well-marked and pass by some rental cottages in the area. Solitaire Lake Loop is a relatively flat trail until the lookout rock. There is a mildly steep uphill and downhill section and the trail finishes along the road or can be combined with other loops.

Loop starts at the Arrowhead Lake campground. It loops the Little East River to Stubs Falls. A lot of muddy sections with regular elevation changes and some steep parts. From the falls, it is possible the hike by climbing the escarpment to some viewpoints, or loop around the campground and explore the river.

The trail is a little muddy but very well maintained, and even starts and ends at a nice little beach. There are several small waterfalls and beautiful views of the lake throughout the entire hike. Be sure to bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are bad during the spring and early summer. Definitely come back here for a hike during the fall to enjoy the splendid colours of fall.

This is one of the best lookouts in Muskoka, with sweeping views of Huntsville, Fairy Lake and the Muskoka River. Parking is very limited on a busy day and narrow so can be difficult to get in and out. Some park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. Otherwise be prepared to loop around a few times to park. In the summer you are able to drive right to the top of the hill if you're feeling brave, but parking is limited especially on long weekends.
