Panoramic circular hike near Dollnstein in the Alltmühltal nature park. The first part of the hike is quite densely overgrown with plants - long trousers and sturdy shoes are therefore highly recommended. Here you can also walk over sticks, stones, roots and sometimes along ropes. The way back, however, is a little wider, flat and easier to walk.

A scenic section of the route in the Altmühltal, Bavaria This route is the sixth section of the Altmühltal-Panoramaweg and leads from Eichstätt to Kipfenberg. You can also cover the Eichstätt - Walting route by bus and then hike 18km from Walting to Kipfenberg. There are places to stop for a break. The path is varied: from shady forests to meadows. Some sections are a bit steep, others are flat and sunny sections. Sights along the way are the cathedral, the former Notre Dame monastery church and the Buchtal, the Wolfsdrossel and the Schönblick, the Willibaldsburg, the Frauenberg chapel and the Kobenzl-Schlösschen.
