This trail is called Beehunter on park maps. It is made a loop by connecting the ends using the bike trail near between the trailhead and Dowd Road. It can be very muddy after rain. The trail is mostly wooded but also passes through some wide open fields. There is a pavilion near the starting point to have a picnic at afterwards.

The loop begins with a steep climb and eventually reaches a high point before turning back towards the starting point on the second half of the loop. There are some small streams and large boulders alongside the trail. The trail is mostly wooded and is marked with blue diamond-shaped blazes reading Osgood Trail.

Little Rock City is a natural outcrop of conglomerate rock. The start of the loop trail is located at the end of Little Rock City Forest Road at the turn around loop. The trail is marked with yellow DEC Trail discs. This is one of three "rock cities" in Cattaraugus County. The others are Rock City, south of Olean, and Thunder Rocks in Allegany State Park. A "rock city" is a rock formation with large rocks with narrow pathways between the rocks that may resemble city streets to some people....

This loop starts from Tracy Ridge Campground and is made up of the Tracy Ridge, North Country, and Johnnycake Trails. At points, you will have great views of the reservoir and will pass some designated backcountry camping areas along the edge of the water. Downloading the map ahead of time is helpful since there is limited cell service.
