Habitats included in PCNP are wetlands, woodlands, meadows, wild creek and river shoreline, and freshwater Tidal Cove. Park at south trailhead along Lincoln Drive and start on easy the Forbidden Trail, cross over to Orange for a little adventure. Some elevation, mud, rocks, and roots. Pretty views that with make you forget that you are in Philadelphia! Cross Fingerspan Bridge, pass Devils Pool then cross over to Forbidden Drive at Valley Green Dive. Enjoy drinks and food at Valley Green Inn! Yummy and great service! Return to start location by going back following Forbidden Drive for an easier walk.

Pennypack Park has both a paved multi-use trail along the creek and a horse trail a little further back and in the woods. Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Pine Road at the northwest end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles.
