Reersø Kro

This trail goes around the scenic surroundings at Reersø, which is a popular holiday destination for both locals and tourists. The fantastic nature and beach view make this a perfect place to come. This trail comes along the coast of this small peninsula, where there will be a nice field view and sea view.

The red clover path leads you through Reersø, which is more than a 200-year-old village, where you can see fine old houses along the trail. You will have some beautiful views from Reersø's northern coast towards Asnæs and Asnæsværket. Large parts of the trail are via the beach and cottage areas. In addition, you will also come through parts of the Bottle Bird Sanctuary, and you are therefore encouraged to bring binoculars if you are interested in bird watching.

This trail is a segment of the longer Sjællandsleden path. The Sjællandsleden follows the entire coast of Zealand. This segment runs between Reersø and Bildsø forest. At the right time of year, this trail is perfect for watching migratory birds. They often use this coast as a stopover. The trail also has a fantastic view of the Mullerup Klint cliffs. This blue clover trail leads you north through the village, towards a memorial stone for the repossession of the island in 1801. The memorial stone has 16 stones, which symbolize the island's farms. Along the way you will also have a beautiful view of Asnæs, Fynshoved and Romsø, the island of Musholm and the Great Belt Bridge. You can also experience the area rich in flora and fauna.

The green clover trail leads you through Reersø town and to the harbor. Along the way you will come across the Margret Stone and a Margrete figure. Enjoy the view of the harbor and the open areas that you will also pass along the way.
