Cibolo Creek Nature Center is a beautiful little-known treasure. There are well-maintained trails that wind through the woods in one direction, and through a marsh and City Park in the other. You can easily walk or jog around the park on a relatively flat path and along the creek. There is also a fun nature store located at the trailhead.

Friedrich Wilderness Park is nestled on the edge of the Balcones Escarpment, and there are several viewpoints on this trail to view the rolling hillsides. There is a mix of sun and shade, and the path changes between paved, natural surfaces, and boardwalks.

There is a fair amount of loose terrain at some points and it is recommended to wear sturdy footwear. There are many other trails to extend or shorten your hike.
