This is a great area with beautiful lake views to start. There is no signage and there are many intersections with mountain biking trails, so you do need to know the general direction, or use the app for directions. The tranquil hike comes out to great views of Finlayson Arm at the lookout just west of the summit.

This trail on the north side of Mount Work is well marked and well maintained, although it does intersect with lots of unmarked mountain biking trails. It's steep in parts, making for a great cardio workout. There is a marker that indicates you’re almost there. There's a picturesque view of the Saanich Inlet shortly before the summit. At the actual summit there isn’t a marker but it’s clearly the ‘end of the line’ with great views of Bear Mountain and Mount Finlayson.
