This is a great trail where you have a good chance to see bears eating salmon in the fall, as there are lots of fly fishing going on. There is one steep section with stairs and a suspension bridge over the water. This trail is great for dogs on leash and for kids as well, but you can expect the trails to be quite muddy during the spring and fall too.

This trail starts almost at the bridge, on the local logging road. You will then cross the bridge and start at Canyon View Trail on the North side. Then, you get on the Millennium Trail and arrive at Elk Falls at about the 4 kilometre mark. You can hike around the falls, and then continue to Deer Falls to see Lower Elk Falls. Here, you can get close to the falls, which is a unique experience. Continue and do the Deer Falls looping back to Elk Falls. You will then take the Canyon Trail south...

The forest holds every shade of green possible and the forest floor is lush with moss and ferns. A great day trip for the whole family and do not forget to visit the Elk Falls themselves just west of the Millennium Trail.
