A popular trail in south east Queensland that explores the coast line of Hervey Bay. This point to point trail begins and ends from the Whale Watch Terminal on Buccaneer Drive, where parking is available across the road. Enjoy soaking up the ocean views as you make your way to the tip of Point Vernon, the end point of this trail.

A walk out along the old Urangan Pier at Hervey Bay, on the southern coast of Queensland, Australia. The pier was originally used to transfer cargo from trains to ships. It is almost one kilometre long and has amazing views along the whole way. This area is widely known as a site for spotting humpback whales so keep your eyes peeled! It's especially spectacular at sunset or sunrise.

The walk starts at the ferry wharf then follows the coastline heads along the coast with great views, before reaching the jetty. This can be done as a day walk. An alternate option is to return along the beach, but this should be done at low tide. Variations to make your trip longer can be made with the nearby tracks that link up.

Start at the Kingfisher Resort & all bitumen until the track starts. 5 minutes and you arrive at the dingo fence, go through the gate and walk south along the coast enjoying beautiful eucalypt trees, bottle brush, and lots of native flora on either side of the track. Every so often you'll be treated to spectacular views looking across the great sandy strait.
