The trail down to Moses Creek Falls is quite a steep descent for which good footwear is recommended. Depending on the season or after a recent rainfall, it can be muddy and slippery. To avoid taking the same way back up, an alternate route is available via the gravel road for a more gradual hike back up to the car. This is not a managed trail and lacks infrastructure. Please practice Leave No Trace principles, packing out any trash.

This is a great trail for everyone that meanders a nice forest setting. At times, it can be very muddy, especially when there may be some down brush or trees, when climbing over stumps and fallen trees. When users get to the part where they can climb a rope to go over a steep section, they can alternatively climb down toward the river and then go back up. Follow the pink trail markers on the trees to help stay on course. The view at the top is stunning!

Eva Lake and Miller Lake trails are fairly easy with a slight elevation grade the whole way, which make this not too challenging despite the long distance. At higher elevations, one of the most notable features will be the beautiful little boulder fields to cross along the way past the meadows. Eva Lake is known to be the prettier of the two, but Miller Lake is worth the half mile that it adds to the round trip.
