This route goes around Monte Rosso and is interesting because you can see the change in vegetation between the north and south sides of the hill with some beautiful views. You will also find some old wooden bridges which can also be slippery when wet. The south side of this route is moderately busy in summer. In winter there are sections with ice and snow, especially on the north side of the hill.

An excursion departing from Pallanza, on Lake Maggiore, to be carried out on foot or by bicycle. The route begins by road passing through Verbania and crossing the San Bernardino stream. Continue along the stream passing through the town of Rovegno, from Bignuno and arrive at Cicogna. From here, take the path towards the Casa dell'Alpino Refuge (1260m) and reach the small chapel of Cima Selva, near Alpe del Braco.

A bicycle excursion, which takes place in a counter-clockwise loop starting from Cambiasca. From here the road route begins, passing through Ramello, Intragna and Cambiesso. You reach Monte Il Pizzo or Toden (1644m) and cross the top of Monte Todano passing by the Balmits and the Piana Cavallone (1564). From here you continue the tour passing from Pizzo Pernice (1506m), from Monte Todum (1280m), from Runchio and from Ungiasca until you return to the starting point.

A short but pleasant walk south of Lake Mergozzo near Camping Continental. The route proceeds on narrow streets and paths, starting to skirt the lake up to the Rustica. The trails continue following the stream to the Casa della Resistenza and the Parco della memoria e della pace.
