This hike or mountain bike ride is located northwest of Geneva and begins near Lac de Divonne in Divonne-les-Bains. The route passes through the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, the Haute Chaîne du Jura National Nature Reserve, Vesancy and Plan, among others, before returning to the starting point. This pleasant hike on the heights of Divonne-les-Bains in the Ain goes around Mont Mourex. this route mainly in the forest takes you to the top of Mont Mourex from where you will have a beautiful panorama of the nearby Jura, of Lake Geneva and the high peaks of the Chablais Massif. An easy family itinerary with beautiful views.

The start of this hiking trail in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park is located in the Arbère car park in Divonne-les-Bains in the Ain department. This route draws a loop which notably passes through Grilly then through Mourex before taking you to the summit of Mont Mourex (754 metres).

The route is suitable for a nice bike ride through the terrain. There are paved roads everywhere and it is possible to catch a glimpse of Lake Geneva through the trees and meandering through the Jura Vaudois regional park. The part of the forest is called Foret de la Combe. In La Rippe it is possible to take a break as it is about halfway on the tour.
