Walk along a fine sandy beach and along the Étier du Pouliguen, an arm of the sea that connects the ocean and the salt marshes, in the seaside resort of La Baule-Escoublac, in the Loire department -Atlantic. From the beach, you will have beautiful views over the bay of Pouliguen.

In the footsteps of lovers of 19th century sea bathing, enjoy a large bowl of iodized and invigorating air. Both urban and coastal, this circuit offers a remarkable panorama over the bay of La Baule and the ocean from the Grande Côte. Walk along the quays and then the promenade, built in 1808, before continuing along the coastal path. On your way, observe the villas. With their architecture totally different from the style of the country, they still bear witness to the beginnings of seaside...

The start of this hiking trail is in the car park at Saint-Michel beach in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. This route takes you to La Govelle beach via the Douaniers trail. It notably passes through Carbonet Bay, Dervin Bay and Manéric Bay.

An easy route, varied in atmospheres and landscapes, ideal for starting roaming or taking the time to recharge your batteries, along the very famous Sentier des Douaniers ... We advise you to start before 10 am on day 1. If you do not have the possibility (train schedule, distance, etc.), several Pouliguen accommodation providers can welcome you the day before.
