This beautiful, typically Corsican walk will allow you to discover the pretty village of Santa-Maria-Poggii as well as the Bucataggio waterfall and its Genoese bridge. It is quite well shaded but the first part climbs a little. The rocks towards the waterfalls are quite slippery so bring good shoes.

This short sporty hike from Santa-Maria-Poggio in Haute-Corse takes you around Monte Negrine to the summit of Punta Rossa. The ascent to the summit is in the forest and has a steep drop. You will be rewarded with a splendid panorama over the Eastern Plain and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The path continues on the other side of Monte Negrine and you will have superb views of the Castagniccia mountains and a beautiful view of San Petrone.
