Here there is plenty of parking as well as a public toilet. There are lots of activities to do along the way with the disc golf course and BMX park nearby.

Romaine Pond is a little oasis in Burnie, TAS, which is home to domestic and wild fowl as well as an interesting diversity of exotic vegetation such as large mountain ashes and man ferns. The route circumnavigates the pond while passing playgrounds, picnic areas and outdoor fitness equipment. This is a great track that explores alongside the Emu River, located in the southern part of the town of Burnie in north eastern Tasmania. Lots of birdlife and fungi in the area. The trail itself is a gravel surface that follows the river. The trail can be accessed just off Fernglade Road. Bathroom and picnic facilities are located nearby.
