The Serra da Mantiqueira Environmental Protection Area is located in the southeast region of Brazil, whose predominant biome is the Atlantic Forest and with an area of 4,218 km. The trail starts at Estrada Morro do Elefante and follows a partially paved path to Mirante Água Santa, with views of forests, valleys, and mountains.

Surrounded by lush forests and beautiful views, the tourist spot Pico do Imbiri is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Campos do Jordão. In addition, it provides a privileged view of Serra da Mantiqueira and also of Pedra do Baú. The trail passes through a forested area and has views of animals and wildflowers.

This trail goes towards Pico do Itapeva. The route is approximately 22 km round trip, with an average of 9 km of strong ascent. The view from the top is worth the effort. Itapeva Lake is the highest in the region and perhaps the highest source of the Piracuama River. From Pico do Itapeva, you can see several cities in the Paraíba valley.

A bike ride leaving Vila Capivari and going up through Alto do Capivari towards the Pyramid. The descent is through Parque do Ferradura and the ascent is through Pico do Itapeva. Practically all ascents are by dirt road passing through areas with an altitude of 1,880m. During the trail you will pass through the Serra da Mantiqueira Environmental Protection Area.
