Nice walk along Hinze Dam with views out over the Nerang River the whole way along the route. This is great family friendly route that is suitable for any fitness level. and gives the opportunity to explore this area via feet or bicycle. There are also mountain bike trails located nearby if you'ld like to explore further.

This is an easy and relaxed walk in the Nerang Conservation area amongst the Dry Rainforest and Eucalypts of the Gold Coast Hinterland. This route is perfect to take the kids on with a gentle climb and a reasonable distance but would be easy to undertake on a day trip with plenty of breaks. The track isn't well-signed but the trail is defined and easy to follow, although be alert at the few trail intersections to make sure you go the right way. This pass is nestled within is the Beechmont Plateu in the McPherson Ranges, which not only provides the forested backdrop to the Gold Coast, but also functions as a wildlife corridor for native fauna as they migrate between hinterland and coastal habitats. The Clagiraba Creek Trail is a pleasant journey alongside the creek within in the Lower Beechmont Conservation Area, located west of the Gold Coast, Queensland. Parking is available at the end of Belliss Road in Clagiraba. The trail itself is mostly gravel through the shady forest and requires a few river crossings and rock hopping. There is a nice section through a paddock with tall grass. The hill at the end is quite steep.

This is a fantastic trail through the eastern and central sections of Nerang National Park that is a fairly decent undertaking on a mountain bike. Walkers are permitted on designated mountain bike trails but must give way to cyclists. Horse riders are not allowed on designated mountain bike trails. Don't forget any spares you'll need for your bike on this route as it can be difficult to walk off the trail if you do happen to have a mechanical. There is parking available at the trailhead.
