The Mary Valley Rail Trail is a nice and easy path that connects the towns of Imbil and Brooloo. The path is wide and mostly compacted gravel and follows an old railroad grade through the forest. The path is mostly flat with gradual inclines and declines and is a great option for walkers, runners, and cyclists.

Starts out straightforward but gradually gets more difficult as the dirt trail turns to rock and the path becomes steeper with a scramble to the top. The chain helps but hands and good shoes are also necessary. It is recommended to bring gloves and extra water.
