It is a nice loop in the small village of Laugar in þingeyjarsveit. It starts from the Laugum campsite next to the sports field and climbs up the mountain through a small forest. Beautiful view and very close to the Goðafoss waterfall.

Vindbelgjarfjall is also called Vindbelgur Mountain and it's a mountain that is situated on the western shore of lake Mývatn. The trail start snext to the farm Vagnbrekka and brings you to the top of the mountain with spectacular views. The first section is flat until you reach the mountain.
