This is a pleasant walk that from San Marco reaches the Dolina Cento Pozzi (650m), a very particular area characterized by sinkholes that flood with the rains. Once these were used as water cisterns and often the rain forms seasonal lakes for a few weeks. This sinkhole is a true oasis for wildlife and for numerous species of reptiles and amphibians. A pleasant walk on the Tremiti Islands, reachable by ferry from the ports of Peschici, Vasto, Vieste and Rodi Garganico. The route starts from the most beautiful beach of the islands, Cala delle Arene, which is quite crowded in summer, so it is advisable to reach it early in the morning. From here the itinerary crosses the island to reach Cala Tonda. It is not possible to go down to this beach because the walls that surround it are very steep, but it can only be reached by sea by boat or canoe.
