So you can expect that in spring and winter the trail will be blocked off for public safety.

This pretty walk around Lac Mercier continuing to Lac du Sommet is on a well-developed and multi-use trail. At Lac du Sommet, you will arrive at the Wetlands, where you can observe a variety of vegetation. The start of your course can be done at the Village of Mont-Tremblant, and you can swim at the Municipal Beach of Lac Mercier.

Complete hike of the multi-functional trail (hiking, cycling/fat biking, cross-country skiing). Wide, well-trodden trail. An easy loop with beautiful scenery, scenic views, woods, rocks, lakes, river, and some hills. It is a very easy walk, with excellent signage and accessible to all ages. This is a multi-use paved trail that loops around the base of the new village of Mont-Tremblant in a loop towards the river and then the Old Village.
