Walk in the magnificent gorges of the Monne, in the Regional Natural Park of the Volcanoes of Auvergne, starting from the village of Olloix, in the department of Puy-de-Dôme. Along the way, you will pass through a forest, and you will be able to see the La Monne waterfall, a two-meter waterfall on the La Monne river.

Pretty hike on a volcanic plateau of the Regional Natural Park of the Volcanoes of Auvergne, where you can see raised stones and dolmens which date from the civilization of the Arvernes, the Gauls of Auvergne. Along the way, you will pass by the summit of Puy de Fan, and you will have lovely views of the Chaîne des Puys.

At the time when Auvergne was one of the main territories of the Order of the Hospitallers of Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem, the Templars took refuge in the Commandery of Olloix. Here you can admire great views, crosses, bridges and megaliths. The start of the course is in the parking lot of the Chaynat cemetery.

Along the way, you will pass by the old stone bridge of Riberolles over the Monne stream, and the remains of two old mills. Please note that the path is narrow in many places.
