This trail explores the fantastic Lake Barrington Nature Recreation Area in Tasmania's Promised Land. The lake welcomes water-sport activities such as water skiing, rowing, and canoeing, as well as sheltered picnic areas, BBQs and toilets. You can access the trailhead via Rowing Course Road. A spectacular and much more accessible walk taking you from the Round Mountain Lookout just off Olivers Road and leading you up to the summit of Mount Claude and a steep and rocky trail. This hike is a great day walk or could be done with some vigour and completed relatively quickly in a morning. It offers views of the Kentish muncipality in the valley below and also has stunning rock features towards the peak.

This is a demanding walk taking you from Round Mountain Lookout off Olivers Road and across the 3 peaks of Moun Claude, Mount Vandyke and Mount Roland. It then drops down off Mount Roland and on to Claude Road where it finishes. This route has you walking almost the length of Mount Roland Regional Reserve and therefore gives you the chance to see a vast amount of what the park has to offer, with amazing views of the Kentish municipality below but also the varying flora of this small...

This is a fantastic route that is quite demanding for a day walk but allows for no car ferrying due to it starting and ending at Round Mountain Lookout carpark. Similar to the classic Three Tops walk but excluding the highest peak Mount Roland for which the park is named after, this walk still takes you up to some spectacular view points and summits including Mount Claude, Fossey Mountains and turns back on Mount Vandyke. Mount Roland Regional Reserve, located in the north west region of Tasmania. The trail begins from Cockatoo Road, where you'll find a small parking area. There are quite a few uphills and downhills along the way leading you up towards Old Road and into Cethana - the turnaround point of this route.
