The first part is a simple walk in the pine forest. When the difference in height begins, going up, the scenery becomes more interesting. Along the way we also find the Hermitage of San Girolamo with around an expanse of dense and tall beech trees, up to the most barren and volcanic ridge. From here you reach the Cima del Monte Fogliano, from where you can see Lake Vico. In this area there are numerous mountain bike trails.
