Leaving Vetralla, walk along a beautiful wooden track before reaching the Church of Madonna di Loreto. Then the hiker goes through a huge estate of hazelsnut trees and flank some monumental oaks before arriving at Oralndo Towers, the ruins of an old monastery. The hiker keeps on walking towards the pretty village of Capranica, then heading for Sutri, an unknown attraction along Via Francigena, including an amphitheatre quarried in tuff, the Mithraeum, and the enchanting historical centre....

The first part is a simple walk in the pine forest. When the difference in height begins, going up, the scenery becomes more interesting. Along the way we also find the Hermitage of San Girolamo with around an expanse of dense and tall beech trees, up to the most barren and volcanic ridge. From here you reach the Cima del Monte Fogliano, from where you can see Lake Vico. In this area there are numerous mountain bike trails.

An excursion that can be done on foot or by bicycle, starting from the Quercette municipal road, starting the path in the direction of Greppo Cenale. The route follows the Fosso di Poggio Spineto in parallel, and arrives at a panoramic point. From here you return following the circular route and then rejoin the same path that takes you back to the starting point.

The route takes place on paths continuing in a clockwise loop passing through the Greppo Cenale and arriving at the panoramic point of Poggio Spineto. From here you can admire a very beautiful view before returning to the starting point.
