The Praia Lopes Mendes is considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil. The trail is perfect for lovers of ecological walks. Easy to navigate, there's no way to get lost along the way. The most difficult stage is between Abraão and Palmas, as there is a mountain range in the middle of the way. From Praia das Palmas, the trail presents a brief ascent and then descends gently.

Out and back hike from Vila do Abraão to Lopes Mendes beach, with the option of walking to the end of Lopes Mendes beach and returning along the T12 trail. The trail is marked "T10" and starts right at the end of the city's main beach. Much of the route passes through forest, the terrain is sometimes steep and can be slippery even without recent rains. This trail is very frequented by hikers who go in search of peace and the wonders of nature. The walk is on a dirt road, with steep ascents and descents, steep and marked sections. Along the way, there are some fountains for you to cool off and fill up your canteen. In Dois Rios alone there is a bar and a canteen serving meals.

Leaving from Abraão Station, this trail passes through several beaches in Angra dos Reis: Praia do Recanto, Praia da Bica, Praia da Crena, Praia Brava and Praia do Abraãozinho. The walk is peaceful and surrounded on one side by a bluish sea and on the other by the Atlantic Forest. Praia da Bica and Crena are smaller and isolated. Praia do Abraãozinho has a long stretch of sand.

The trail leaves Praia do Abraão and passes through points such as the stone pool, the Ruínas do Lazareto (built in 1871) and Praia Preta. Praia do Galego is practically connected to Praia Preta, just follow the sand or continue along the trail. Praia do Galego does not have black sand and is usually not crowded. The waters are warm and the place is beautiful and peaceful.
