The route Praia do Recanto - Palmas is located in the city of Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. The route starts from Recanto beach and goes to Palmas beach. Much of the way goes through a lot of Atlantic Forest. Palmas beach is a small fishing village, covered with palm trees, rustic bars, leisure areas.

The trail is moderate, and has many very sharp elevations. The path is shaded by almond and coconut trees. The path goes along the sand, past a church and several bars. Praia do Pouso has white sand and clear waters. On the edge of the beach there is a floating restaurant. Here it is also common to find boats that make the crossing to other beaches.

The route is carried out on the beach, starting near the Abraão Station. The route goes through several beaches on the slope of Angra dos Reis, passing through narrow trails in wooded areas and beautiful views of nature. Crena beach is excellent for swimming and relaxing, especially in the afternoon as it faces the sunset.

Leaving from Abraão Station, this trail passes through several beaches in Angra dos Reis: Praia do Recanto, Praia da Bica, Praia da Crena, Praia Brava and Praia do Abraãozinho. The walk is peaceful and surrounded on one side by a bluish sea and on the other by the Atlantic Forest. Praia da Bica and Crena are smaller and isolated. Praia do Abraãozinho has a long stretch of sand.

The trail leaves Praia do Abraão and passes through points such as the stone pool, the Ruínas do Lazareto (built in 1871) and Praia Preta. Praia do Galego is practically connected to Praia Preta, just follow the sand or continue along the trail. Praia do Galego does not have black sand and is usually not crowded. The waters are warm and the place is beautiful and peaceful.
