Beautiful cycling route starting from the heart of Arnhem deep into the Veluwezoom. On the first part of the trail you ride along the IJssel through Rheden and Dieren. Near Laag-Soeren you enter the Veluwe, where you drive through the woods and heaths to the famous Posbank. Quite a few challenging hills await you in the Veluwezoom. The route runs via cycle junctions on good cycle paths and is suitable for every type of bicycle.

Explore the Veluwe by bicycle, starting from Arnhem. A great, extensive loop all around the Hoge Veluwe National Park and through the surrounding Veluwe itself. Occasionally you will climb a hill, where you will be treated to great views. The route leads to Kootwijk, with its forestry, shifting sands and impressive history. You drive past the vast heaths of Oud-Reemst and Deelen, and straight through the woods of Otterlo and Hoenderloo. Along the way you regularly pass villages and restaurants.
