Very nice paved trail along the river with parking and port-a-potties at the start. Accessibility: There are five designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Water St. at the north end of the trail. One of them is van-accessible with a striped access aisle. The trail surface is asphalt, smooth, and typically at least 6 feet wide. The most accessible portion of the trail is the first 2.5 miles out. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less) except for steep sections...

This loop is made up of the Lady Slipper, White Oak, Hawthorne, Witch Hazel, and Jordan Farm Trail. The loop is designed to be a 2-mile running loop around the perimeter of the Nature Center and is good for all ages. Entry is free and the trails are open daily during daylight hours. Parking is also available off Haskell St and near Cony High School.

The arboretum is open from dawn to dusk daily and has trails leading through the forest, fields, and past ponds. Be sure to stop by the Visitor Center to see the educational exhibits on display inside. The arboretum asks that horseback riders reach out in advance. This trail travels through the forest on the west side of the reservoir and is a great place to see wildflowers bloom in the springtime. The Wildflower Trail is designated for foot traffic only and some section have uneven footing and exposed roots, so good shoes are recommended. Hunting is allowed, so wear blaze orange during the fall.
