With the Ommetje Barchem you discover a beautiful piece of nature that is rarely visited. Many call this Ommetje a big surprise. The hike takes you past the Lochemse and Kale Berg, an area full of views, flora, fauna and culture. Then also straight through the Hagenbeek nature reserve, where it can be quite muddy, especially after rain. The trail is well marked with green markers.

This walking route is dominated by the Kale Berg and the Lochemse Berg. The hills were created in the Ice Age and now have a highest point of 46 meters. In this walking route two routes are combined, the Galgenkamproute and Boschheurneroute. You then also follow two different markings, blue and blue-green footsteps. The walking route starts at the unique Boerderijmuseum De Lebbenbrugge, a 16th century farm. From here the route runs to open-air theater Het Galgenveld, and over the Jan Ribberspad along the Groenlose Slinge. The walk takes you on forest paths and small farm roads.
