This hike from Besançon will take you into the forest where you can enjoy the freshness and the panoramic view of the Doubs valley below from the summit. You will always go down again in the forest to the Chemin des Vallières which will bring you back to the starting point. This last part is on a paved road along the Boulevard Ouest. If you walk with a dog, it is recommended to keep them on a leash.

This 4.18 kilometer hiking loop on the outskirts of Besançon will introduce you to the hillsides of Rosemont in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. You will go around the Bois de Rosemont near the Fort. You will do a clockwise loop. You will follow the Chemin des Champs Nardin which will bring you closer to the river Le Doubs. You will end your hike in the Bois de Rosemont. This route is suitable for family outings.

It continues along Avenue François Mitterand on the cycle path. At kilometer 0.8, the Passage du Coyote goes into the forest. You will make a loop and return to the starting point Rue Émile Schlumberger.
