Mercure Besancon Parc Micaud

This very short route is suitable for afternoon family walks. Departing from the Esplanade Jean-Luc Lagarce in the beautiful city of Besançon, the route takes you to the banks of the Doubs on a dirt path. It passes by the Promenade Micaud and the barge restaurant Le Chaland where you can stop to enjoy this nature in the center of the city. You will turn around and come back through the park.

The Via Francigena is the common name of an ancient pilgrimage route that leads from France to Rome and Puglia. On this route, you will take the segment that goes from Besançon to Étalans. Departing from the Esplanade Jean-Luc Lagarce, you will first follow the Doubs on the Chemin de la Malate which passes by the Tour de Bregille. You will then go inland through fields, Saône marshes, forests and typical villages of this beautiful region of Burgundy-Franche-Comté.

This 6.12 kilometer route is suitable for walking or cycling. It is also suitable for family outings. You will leave from Besançon in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. You will follow the Doubs to the south. You will pass through Les Prés de Vaux. You will cross the Malate hydroelectric dam to cross to the other bank. You will follow the Chemin de la Malate. You will pass by Rivotte and the Tour de Bregille. You will cross the Pont de Bregille to find your starting...

This 4.67 kilometer hiking loop will introduce you to the beautiful city of Besançon in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. This route is suitable for running or road biking. You will go around the Peninsula from the Bastioned Tower of Rivotte. You will follow the Doubs along the Quai. You will pass through the Bois de Chamars and on the outskirts of the Zoological Garden. You will finish by the River Tunnel before returning to your starting point in Rivotte.
