This is Staatsbosbeheer's yellow pole walk through the Liesbos. A lovely forest walk where you walk on both wide avenues and small winding forest paths. The forest is the largest old summer oak forest in the Netherlands. In the spring, the forest has an extra fairytale-like appearance, when the ground is covered with forest anemones.

Blue-marked walking route over the De Vloeiweide estate. In recent years, a lot of work has been done to make the coniferous forest more diverse. You walk on forest paths along an old peat canal and a pond where a farm once stood. The forest is a beautiful habitat for many birds, woodpeckers make their homes in fallen trees, in summer the waters are filled with moorhens and the buzzard also lives here all year round.
