This is a route with a very varied landscape and breathtaking views of Lake Como. This is a through hike from Brunate in the province of Como to San Giovanni in the province of Bellagio. The route can easily be divided into two segments, with an overnight stay in Pian del Tivano. In San Giovanni there is a boat that leaves every hour to return to Como. Beautiful path, which starts from the arrival point of the Como-Brunate cable car and arrives in the famous town of Bellagio. The route takes the ridge trail (mostly marked as # 1) but many peaks can easily be avoided with the surrounding trails. The trail has a breathtaking view of Lake Como and the Alps. This trail is perfect for children and takes you to the Volitano Lighthouse up to the Sanctuary which can be visited every day and has a special mass on Sunday evenings. There is a shorter route if you want which only takes you up to the Lighthouse. There are many refreshment points along the road and the route is often paved.

A nice excursion near Lake Como, starting from San Giuliano and reaching the Capanna Mara Refuge. The route takes place almost entirely on paths and begins by proceeding in the direction of Brunate, and then continues on the Fiorella Noseda path. You get to Pizzo Tre Termini (1144m) and then continue to climb up to the crest of Monte Astele (1183m). From here continue on the Colme path passing by Monte Bolettone (1318m) and finally arriving at the Mara Refuge.
