Deer Lake Trail is a mostly gravel pathway with boardwalk portions that hug Deer Lake. The route is more of an outdoor urban walk than a hike, but it is a nice place for families with small kids, folks looking for a nice nature trip, or a good loop outside if you are short on time. There is also boating available at the lake during the spring through the fall season, so folks are always welcome to bring their paddle board, kayak, or canoe.
