NH Capelle Rotterdam

Loop starting on the edge of Ommoord, at the Ommoordse Veld. You walk along the green banks of a river to the river Rotte. After crossing the Rotte you will find yourself in the Hoge Bergse Bos. This forest is a beautiful wetland nature reserve. The route makes a nice short circle around one of the waters.

The Ommoordse Veld is a city park consisting of meadows, bushes and rivers, located in the Ommoord district. The city park is actually an original polder, next to the river Rotte. With this round you will explore the entire area, through the bushes, grasslands and along the waters. You can also visit the petting zoo, playground and cafe.

With this route you make a nice round through the fields, groups of trees and countless rivers. You walk a bit on the quay along the Rotte. This route also takes you past the petting zoo, playground and cafe.

Tour through the Hoge Bergse Bos. The nature recreation area used to be a dumping ground for demolition and construction waste. This ensures that the area is now filled with hills. For years, efforts have been made to return the area to nature. During this route you walk around the ponds located in the forest. Along the way you will come across a few viewpoints and a restaurant.
