Mount Minsi is a quick loop to awesome views of the Delaware River, Mount Tammany and the surrounding Appalachian Mountains. This trail is well marked, in good condition and easy to get to. There are lots of small waterfalls and both Council Rock and Lookout Rock on the route back are great spots to stop for a break or a picnic with a view. The forested mountains offer shade throughout the trail and it is recommended to wear sturdy shoes since it’s fairly rocky!

The Delaware Water Gap is the spot on the PA/NJ border were the mighty Delaware river turns sharply East in its course and cuts through the Appalachian Mountains. There are a couple of nice spots just below the summit of Mt. Minsi that provide lovely views of this feature as well as of Mount Tammany. The old fire tower on Minsi's summit is long gone, only the base of the concrete pillars remains. There is however a massive, fenced-in radio tower further west along the trail. The turn-around...

This route mostly follows the Appalachian Trail to an overlook with views looking across the Delaware River at the New Jersey/Pennsylvania state line. The parking is near Lake Lenape. Head towards the lake following the AT, the trail is rolling before it heads uphill after the half-mile mark heading up towards the overlook.

This stretch of the Appalachian Trail has incredible views, a lake, and the opportunity to run into wildlife such as black bears, rattlesnakes, and porcupines. After passing Lake Lenape the trail begins to get much steeper climbing up towards Lookout Rock. Once you gain the top of the ridgeline the trail has more rolling terrain and less pronounced elevation loss and gain. Once you arrive at Wolf Rocks be sure to enjoy the view before heading back.

There is a parking area for this trail on Old Mine Road. The Farview Trail has yellow blazes and the Holly Springs Trail has red blazes. Most of the trail is a wooded double-track.
