Long Cycle Route 3, or the Hanseatic Route, runs from Kampen to Millingen. A wonderful tour filled with history and nature, from historic Hanseatic city to Hanseatic city. With this part of LF3 you go from Westervoort to Doesburg. You will cycle entirely over the dikes in the floodplains of the IJssel, with constant views of the river. You will also pass through the villages of Giesbeek and Beinum. The route is well marked.

Landgoed Biljoen is an old estate. Already around 1530 Karel van Egmond, the Duke of Gelre, built the first castle on these grounds. The Rozendaalse creek and the Beekhuizense creek come together here, creating a water-rich and green environment. Trail starting at Huis Loowaard, a 15th century manor located in the nature reserve of the same name. The nature reserve is located on the banks of the Lower Rhine. After a visit to the castle you walk through the floodplains. There are several lakes here, including the gravel hole, the Waai and the Keel. With this short loop you walk around the many waters.
