Located in north Lee County, Yellow Fever Creek preserve is mostly pine flatwoods and features views of the Yellow Fever Creek. There is an unmarked pedestrian entrance on Del Prado Boulevard, which connects to the trails in this park. The Yellow Fever Creek Preserve Trail can be done as an out and back or as a loop. The trail is sandy in some areas which can make hiking a bit more challenging.

This is a short loop that travels through a variety of environments. There is both shade and sun along the route and a mix of sand and boardwalk trails.
