This route is done by mountain bike and the highlight of the exit is the Bernex signal. It is 509.87 meters above sea level and dominates the plain of the Aire. It is the second highest point in the canton of Geneva after the place called Les Arales located in Monniaz. The flora and fauna are remarkable and it is a beautiful observation point with magnificent views of the vineyards.

This path is particularly suitable for a bike ride. It starts in Confignon and moves through the cultivated landscape across fields and meadows via Challoux and then further through the La Champagne region down to Chancy. This nice little village is located on the river Rhine and right on the border with France. Again and again there are nice places for breaks and space to take a breath and enjoy the views. The trail then leads back to the starting point via Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.

It meanders along some small lakes, such as the Étang des Bouvières and the Étang Paul Gèroudet. From there, as well as from some vantage points along the way, there are some wonderful views of the nature around the Rhine.
