This walking route introduces you to the rural areas south of Heerlen. There are two areas that you walk through, Imstenrade and Benzenrade. The limestone soils of the Imstenradebos are a good breeding ground for a lot of flora and fauna. You walk between the tall green beeches, accompanied by birds of prey and bats. The walking route is marked with red posts.
