Walk through ancient forests around Heerlen, filled with birds of prey and bats. The white walking route is a surprising and adventurous walking route. The Imstenradebos has a number of steep slopes, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views through the dense canopy. The walking route is well signposted.

Yellow post hike of Natuurmonumenten from the Imstenrarderbos through the beautiful surrounding area. The walking route takes you along rivers, through dense forests and past monumental farms. An area rich in birds and wildlife.

This walking route introduces you to the rural areas south of Heerlen. There are two areas that you walk through, Imstenrade and Benzenrade. The limestone soils of the Imstenradebos are a good breeding ground for a lot of flora and fauna. You walk between the tall green beeches, accompanied by birds of prey and bats. The walking route is marked with red posts.

This is one of the routes of the Limburgs Mooiste sports event. The event is held annually, and there are countless different routes.
